UBC AISES is a volunteer organization working out of the UBC Point Grey (Vancouver) campus, which sits on the traditional, ancestral, unceded territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) First Nation. AISES is supported by various faculties on campus including the faculties of science, land and food systems, and applied science. Indigenous students and professionals from any faculty, institution, or discipline are welcome to join our chapter.
We are an official chapter of the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES). We encourage all students and professionals interested in joining our chapter to become a member of AISES. Membership is free for students. UBC AISES is a part of the Canadian Region and AISES Region 1.
