The American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) is dedicated to increasing Indigenous representation in STEM fields through community building, STEM studies, and the incorporation of Indigenous culture in academics and professional practice.
The UBC AISES chapter welcomes Indigenous STEM students back this term with a gathering and dinner, which includes a chapter meeting on the AISES in Canada National Gathering in Toronto from March 5–7 and youth engagement with Tsleil-Waututh Nation high school students this semester. Register asap to receive a food order invitation, as well as to learn more about the upcoming conference.
