Indigenous Student Opportunities in Environmental Consulting

On March 17th, the UBC Chapter of the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (UBC .caISES) hosted a career-focused workshop on Indigenous student opportunities in environmental consulting. This workshop included a moderated discussion from a panel of current professionals in this field focusing on student considerations for entry into the field, examples of active projects within the Indigenous community context, and an opportunity to explore questions with the panelists. Indigenous students from any discipline were welcome to attend.
